Jesus Romero is a native of Napa, California. His exposure to farming and viticulture began at an early age working alongside his family in the vineyards. He graduated from of the University of California, Berkeley with a BS in Interactive Biology. After graduation he worked at Saintsbury and Rudd Estate both in the cellar and lab.

He joined the Crop Care team in 2005. He is a licensed Pest Control Advisor (PCA), Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) and QAL.
